The State of New Jersey is making drastic changes in the field.
It won't be long at all when service workers will need to be certified in order to work on boilers in the state of New Jersey. We will be offering a program for these people to get certified. We are in developing stages for this right now. Anyone interested may inquire by contact us via email or call us toll-free at 1-800-392-3927.
Re-certification
The state will also have a re-certification for all New Jersey boiler operator licenses. This re-certification process can only be done at a certified school that meets their strict requirements. The Training Center, along with the Local 68 Union of Stationary Operating Engineers, will be a certified schools. The process will require all licensed operators to attend a program and complete a certain amount
of hours of credit within a three-year time period. Any future updates will be posted on this site.
Our New Online Study Center
This has brought our test scores to an all-time high! As a state tests change and become more difficult to pass, we are constantly developing new material that students can access online 24/7. This portion of our web site is only available to registered Training Center students. Although there is no low-pressure or refrigeration study center online yet, we are working on them and expect them to be launched this year. To visit the Online Study Center, click here.
Application fees are now $100 for an original application ($80 for a raise of grade)
Fines are minimum $500 and a maximum of $5,000 per incident in New Jersey.
NJ Testing Locations are only given in five locations now:
Newark, Vineland, Morristown, Neptune, and Trenton.
